This weekend my family and I made the trip up to The Outback Kangaroo Farm in Arlington (website | FB page). I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but let’s start by saying I can’t wait to go again. Just imagine the opportunity to walk among Kangaroos and Wallaby’s, feed them and pet them! For this girl who has wanted to visit Australia since fourth grade, it was quite the experience.

The farm itself is just that, a farm. Not a zoo. The animals are up close and very friendly. Tours are ran four times a day by the owners, who obviously adore their menagerie. The group we toured with was rather large which made it difficult to make sure my boys had the opportunity to get up close to all the animals. It sounds like we were just there on a super busy day. My hope is to arrange a private group tour and head back up, I honestly enjoyed it that much even with the big group.

While I thought the Kangaroos would be my hands down favorite, it was hard to decide which I enjoyed more; the roos, the Lemurs with their babies or the Ostrich with quite the personality! All were amazing! The Outback Kangaroo Farm, Arlington, WA
